We greatly enjoyed magnificent views!
Overall rooms were tastefully decorated and functional and had a fridge, an electric kettle, and air conditioning. The bed was very big and worked perfectly. The staff has always been exceptionally attentive, and the facilities were fantastic! The hotel had a secluded location in the lush garden.

Loved the tailor-made safaris at reasonable prices, the beautiful tropical gardens, the delicious Italian and Swahili cuisine, and the open-air terraces. The friendly staff made me feel at home. A perfect place to relax.

Getting to the beach was a piece of cake with the beach shuttle. The resort is totally rad, with awesome rooms and chill vibes. It's close to other cool places like Watamu Beach and the Bio-Ken Snake Farm. We had the best time hanging with friends and enjoying the surf and sand. Highly recommended for all the young, party-loving peeps out there!
If you're looking for non-stop partying, this might not be the spot for you. It's a bit laid-back and more focused on relaxation.

We were greeted with warm smiles and really good service from the moment we arrived. The staff were pretty good too make us feel welcome and ensure our needs were met. Our room, the love temple, was a romantic oasis with a spacious bed and a beautiful terrace. The attention to detail in the decor and the well-kept garden added to the overall charm of the resort. We also appreciated the helpful recommendations from Stephen at the reception and the excellent service from Mombasa, our waiter. The hotel's location, close to the beach and a quiet neighborhood, was perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Love this hidden gem! The hotel is charming and intimate, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. The pool is absolutely stunning and perfect for a refreshing break from work. The staff are so friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with taxis and recommendations for local attractions. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with air conditioning and lovely balconies overlooking the greenery.
The food was not up to my expectations for the price charged, but there are plenty of options nearby. The WiFi could be improved, especially for business travelers who need to stay connected.

The place looks even better than the pictures with its mind-blowing collection of African antiques. The staff were super helpful, and the breakfast was hands down the best I've had on the east coast in ages. Plus, the Italian owner was the coolest, most fascinating person ever. She took the time to chat with us and made us feel like VIPs. I would totally go back here in a heartbeat.
The only thing missing for young party-goers like us was a more happening nightlife scene. We wished there were more fun and vibrant activities for us to enjoy after the sun went down.

During my recent business trip to Malindi, I had the pleasure of staying at African House Resort, a hotel that was chosen by my director. This exquisite resort exceeded my expectations in many ways.
The only minor downside I encountered was that African House Resort is located a bit far from the center of Malindi.
